Come on over to the library for a delightful afternoon, as we bring you the mischievous antics of Sheikh Chillee and Chacha Chakkan. Join us for a dramatic recitation of some classic Urdu tales for children that will have you in peals of laughter!
Through this session, we hope to introduce and reacquaint children to classic Urdu literature featuring some of the most celebrated children’s stories, presented by Tilismistan.

About Tilismistan: Qadir Ahmed and Riaz Baloch started dastangoi in 2016 after being trained at NAPA. They established Tilismistan in 2019 to keep the magic of oral storytelling alive. Their troupe have performed at Karachi Literature Festival, Karachi International Festival at NAPA, Karachi Laughter Festival NAPA, Azam-e-Nojawan Project and Women’s Day festival at Arts Council Karachi.
