Take a look at this interview in his own words and know more about our passionate music composer.

How old are you? What are your hobbies? What else do you do apart from singing?
I was born on 17th April 1991 in Karachi. Hobbies are mostly occupied with making new compositions and writing music, didn’t play any sports in my life, I love to socialize with like-minded people who influenced me positively.

What you do in your spare time, does your work affects your sleep cycle?
Mostly I like spending time with guitars, jamming with my fellow musicians, Reading books and Paintings, Sleep! I don’t sleep, I’m not good in this, I just take long blinks that improve concentration and productivity. My creative time is mostly in the nights, but I am trying being a morning person, and one day I will…

Have you always been in the music industry, when you joined the industry?
Technically I started music when my uncle gifted me a piano when I was 7 years old, and you can say now I can play all the instruments even though no one taught me, Sometimes we are blessed by God, I’m the one of those.

How your inspiration helps you in pursuing your career?
Music has constantly inspired me to be a better human being. I have been listening to all kinds of music and each musical note arouses a varying emotion inside me.

What is your first memory of being inspired by singing?
The first melody I played was Titanic on the piano and then I learned many more, But professionally I started making music when I was 15 years old and formed a professional band and started writing my songs.

What genre do you like singing? Why do you think that the genre suits you?

My genre is Rock, and I am very much inspired Rock legacy of mixing western rock and eastern classical, but I sing all that things which people like the most, I don’t believe in adopting modern technologies, like the auto tuners and other methods and instruments yet I strongly believe in organic sound and skills, because skills can never be replaced by the technology. The hardest part for me was getting the right platform, for so many years of the music scene in Karachi, but things are getting better.

What preparation do you make for your Performance? While you are performing, how do you feel?
Before the performance I don’t prepare as such, I just come on stage and then engage with the crowd to set the base, then I decide how to rock their experience. It is the best experience in the world to be on the stage where you have the power to lead the crowd for an emotional and melodious roller coaster.

Which songs do you perform most frequently? Do you perform any covers? Do you have an asset playlist?
I prefer to Sing my originals and Mostly I love to cover Pakistani Music, Junoon’s Na re na, Falak’s Ijazat in my twisted way are ones of them, also I do cover songs by Noori, EP, Strings Ali Zafar and Umair Jaswal

What do you enjoy most about being an Artist? What do you hate most?
I love the attention and appreciation, and many love which people give me, but I hate when someone starts breaching my personal space.

What is your success mantra?
Positive thinking and ultimate faith in the destiny which ALLAH has to Bless us all with, we all born the specials.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
I would want people to treat this as an Industry. People still perceive music as a hobby. I would eliminate nepotism and taking art for granted. I would love providing young talent more space to flourish.
Where do you hope to be by 2020?
Releasing more singles, performing more concerts, travelling, making music and inspiring people with my music.
What’s the best piece of advice you have received?
Be humble and always have faith, that’s the best piece of advice I got from parents.
What advice would you give to other singers trying to enter the leading industry?
Never stop the music just because people and society put you under social pressure, music is always a portion of food for the soul, fame will come and eventually will go away, even if you are Pink Floyd. People will not remember your glitz and glamour, but they will remember you in your music.Message for Events in Karachi Audience.
