Pakistan Theatre Festival 2023, presented by Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi will showcase the play Zeest by Tehrik-e-Niswan.

Zeest brings to life the captivating essence of Amrita Pritam’s short stories. Through the symbolic characters of Zindagi and Hawa, the play uncovers the reality of women’s lives today. As Zindagi and Hawa traverse the societal landscape, the play delves into the multifaceted challenges and triumphs that shape women’s experiences. With a keen eye on contemporary issues, Zeest offers a profound exploration of women’s roles and aspirations.
