The first ever health expo that will be arranged by an NGO in Pakistan. Its success will ensure the opening of new horizons, not only for H.O.P.E.S. but also for the different medical communities in Karachi.
For the past 5 years H.O.P.E.S. has been arranging fun filled charity carnival commonly known as “H.O.P.E.S. Mela”. The event has always been successful and it has only become better, but without evolution nothing can reach perfection. Therefore, we have decided to set up a H.O.P.E.S. Health Expo 2016 in place of our carnival.
There is something for every age, every interest, everyone at the H.O.P.E.S. Health Expo 2016. We have an exciting day planned with activities, exhibits, performances and programs designed to entertain and empower you and your family to take actions and make choices to recreation.
Here at H.O.P.E.S. Health Expo, you can participate in numerous health screenings, nutrition and healthy food demonstrations, workouts, interactive exhibits, games and more. There’s information and resources addressing a variety of health issues including family primary health care, heart health, diabetes, cancer, injury preventions, surgical procedures, hypertension, healthy homes and neighbourhoods and several endemics like dengue, malaria, bird flu and polio.
Join in a sports demonstration or fitness workout. Visit cooking lessons and learn how to prepare healthy and tasty meals in no time. Enjoy high-flying and amazing feats of gymnastic skills with the finest gymnasts in town. Jump in the Kids zone and get to know why playtime is more important to all ages. Explore culture and performing arts and learn why they are important to the health and well-being of all ages.
