Pakistan Theatre Festival 2023, presented by Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi will showcase the play Anarkali Se Aagay.
Anarkali Se Aagay- Tragedy
On the evening of December 27th, 1928, a white police officer was murdered. An FIR has been registered against two unnamed individuals. It is suspected that Bhagat Singh and his revolutionary group HSRA were responsible for the murder. The British Police are conducting raids, searches, and looking for suspects, especially at colleges and universities, as rumors suggest that the murderers were young boys. A sense of fear permeates the air, as anyone could potentially be connected with HSRA, another organization, or even be a spy for the British forces. The room is occupied by two students: Baldev Singh, a Sikh, and Riaz Ali, a Muslim. The events of this night could potentially shape the history of the times to come.
