As the release date for Talaash is coming closer, a hype can already be seen building around not only in India but Pakistan too. As for the promotions Aamir Khan is famous for his out-of-the-box film promotion ideas. And now, he has planned something out of the ordinary for his upcoming release, Talaash, as well.
The marketing team for the film is in talks with search-engine giant, Google. If all goes well, on its India homepage (www.google.co.in) the word Talaash (which means search) will replace the Google Search button for a short period of time leading up to the release.
The deal is likely to be signed in the coming week. “What could be better than using the world’s biggest search engine? If it works out, it will start after Diwali, and continue till November 30,” says an insider.
Now that’s an exciting way of promoting the film, where Aamir will be seen playing as a cop,
The actor, who spoke on the sidelines of a recent event here, says the movie goes beyond being a mere thriller.
“It’s not only a drama and a suspense, but also a very emotional story. We all love someone or the other, who is close to us – our parents, our children, husband or wife, or lover. We are always scared of losing them,” he said.
Directed by Reema Kagti, ‘Talaash’ also stars Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor. The movie is all set to hit the theaters on 30th November! A MUST WATCH!
