Ally Adnan is a well-known writer, cultural commentator and public speaker on topics of culture, history and the arts. He is considered a subject matter expert in the field of qawwali. He conducts workshops on art and painting, Hindustani Sangeet, Kathak, Urdu poetry, and many more topics, around the world. He also writes for a large number of Pakistani and international publications on a regular basis.

Ghayoor โ Moiz โ Mustafa Qawwal & Party represents the twenty-sixth generation of the first Khusravi qawwal, Miyan Samat Bin Ibrahim. They are the sons of the celebrated Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad qawwals. Masters of music, poetry and rhythm, heirs to the institution of Khusraoโs music, expert musicians, and the torchbearers of the Khusravi tradition of qawwali, the brothers are considered to be the foremost young qawwals in the world today. They are known for the authenticity of their musical tradition, a huge repertoire of ancient qawwalis, and an extensive knowledge of raag (musical modes) and taal (rhythm). The qawwali that they perform is the same as the one that was practiced more than eight hundred years ago. Nothing has been allowed to change.

CLF (Childrenโs Literature Festival) is a social movement, founded in 2011 by Baela Raza Jamil, an education reformer at national and global levels, as a response to declining learning outcomes across Pakistan as well as shrinking spaces for creative expression, critical thinking and reading among children and youth. CLF encourages children to read and express creatively without fear of examinations; teachers and schools are encouraged to adopt innovative reading/learning methodologies for โunlocking the power of reading.โ The CLF, managed by Idara e Taleem o Aagahi ITA, is the largest learning festival for children and teachers in Pakistan.
