Mathira making her way in Bollywood industry

When it comes to Bollywood, they have always welcomed a lot of people from Pakistan to work with them, which gives these people a bigger and a better platform to work on. There’s a huge list of people who earned fame through Bollywood, be them singers like Ali Azmat, Mustafa Zahid, Ali Zafar or be it actors like Humayun Saeed, Mahnoor Baloch.

This time Bollywood has decided to take up Mathira- the guchee goo girl who is also said to be the Paris Hilton of Pakistan.She will be starring in Neil Nitin Mukesh’s upcoming Bollywood film directed by Rookie Prerna Wadhawan. When asked about her experience of being the eye of the camera she said “I’m not a stranger to camera, so I’m very confident and as of now, my chances are 50/50.”

When asked about the possibility of following the footsteps of Drama Queen Veena Malik, she stated, “People should just work on what they are good at. There is a thin line between being vulgar and being sexy.”

Mathira’s television career took off with a programme on which she appeared as a yoga instructor on Vibe TV. The child of an African father and Pakistani mother, Mathira, whose name means ‘pretty woman’ in Hebrew, was born and has lived in Zimbabwe for most of her 18-year-old life (yes, she’s that young, just 20!).
