Ali Azmat and Fariha welcome their very first baby!

The biggest rock star and a living legend of our country, Ali Azmat became a father to a baby girl yesterday i.e 14^th September 2012. It was only last year that the rock icon finally tied knots with his long-time girlfriend Fariha Khan, a TV producer in the month of September which took his fans by surprise as they thought that the singer would never really fall for a serious commitment or anything like that.

The singer tweeted, “Ella is here” late on Thursday night.

This itself is a great news for Ali and family, since he has been through a lot of ups and downs in his career. The baby girl has been named Ella, which means torch or bright light, by the parents and other family members.

Azmat’s friend, singer-cum-actor Ali Zafar congratulated Azmat on Twitter saying “Beautiful name. Wonderful news. May the family have the most fantastic life ever” to which Azmat replied, “Thanks bro, it’s a brand new feeling altogether.”
