Karachi Astronomers’ Society (KAS) brings you a unique Astronomy night. Welcome to another Rutjuga of the season. This is the best time of the year to observe planets and Deep Sky Objects.

Venue: Caves City, Balochistan, Pakistan
Distance: ~215 Kms from Karachi one way.
Min Temp.: ~24 degree Celsius at night
Age Limit: 8 years to 75 years

Please have breakfast before coming to the meeting point

Day 1

09:00 AM – Meeting Time (please be on time. We will not wait for anyone)
09:30 AM – Departure from Karachi
01:30 PM – Bela – Lunch/Washroom stop
03:00 PM – Arrival at Caves City
03:30 to 05:00 PM – Optional trekking to the Caves and river
05:00 PM – Setup Telescopes, equipment, camps & tents
Astronomy Starts
05:30 PM – Introduction to KAS, Team and Telescopes
05:40 PM – Sunset
07:00 PM – Jupiter Observation with Telescope
08:15 PM – Andromeda and Seven sisters with Telescope
09:00 PM – Dinner (Lights will be switched ON for an hour)
11:00 PM – Observing Galaxies, Nebulas, Star clusters (Orion Nebula, Pleiades, Andromeda Galaxy)

Day 2 (Sunday)
04:00 AM – 06:00 AM: Free Time. Personal time. Naked-eye Astronomy.
06:00 AM – Fajr Prayers & pack up
07:00 AM – Breakfast
08:00 AM – Departure from Venue
08:45 AM – Stop at Bela
09:30 AM – Departure for Karachi
01:30 PM – Expected Arrival at Karachi.
