• 15 More Killed in target killing. Landhi, Quaidabad, Lyari River, Pak Colony & Gulistan –e-Johaur were the areas with tension today.
• No cut in load shedding despite decrease in shortfall & as said by KESC.
• The lawyers boycotted courts to condemn the brutal killing of two lawyers in the city.
• The first monetary policy of the current fiscal year 2011-12 has been announced.
• Sharjeel Memon has said that no government representative is involved in Karachi unrest.
• Muttahida Qaumi Movement Coordination Committee member Raza Haroon said that the MQM would fully participate in the peace rally in the city on Saturday, an MQM press release said.
• State Bank of Pakistan has announced Bank Holiday on 1st Ramazan for deduction of Zakat.
