Shaista Wahidi’s divorce confirmed!

Shaista Wahidi, one of the leading morning show anchors confirmed the news of her divorce by calling herself Shaista Lodhi on her morning show Utho, Jaago Pakistan on Geo TV network. She has been going through a lot of stress and depression for quite a long time now that is why she was not hosting her show in Ramadan.

It is reported that she filed a case for divorce against her husband because they were not on good terms with each other because her husband wanted her to give more time and attention towards their family rather than hosting and dancing on TV shows. Another source also tells that she shifted herself to a separate apartment in Defence along with her kids while her husband still resides in Nazimabad. And it is also said that she will not be making any appearnces on TV until her Iddat period is complete.

Talking about the public views, some people blame Shaista for divorce while some blame her husband. Some think that she’s doing this to stay on the big screen and earn big while others who blame her husband think of him to be a very narrow minded person.

We can’t conclude whether the divorce was a good step or not but we wish her all the best with her future.
